I thought I started a topic about this about a year ago but I can't seem to find it.
I might be oversimplifying but I hope you'll get what I mean.
Displaying the publisher at the top in the context of American publications makes sense. Characters are closely associated with their 'brand'. The writers and pencillers change overtime.
I think it's quite different in Europe and Japan. Although the publisher is quite well-known, characters are their creator's 'property' and they are most often drawn by them only.
I guess it would be better in those cases to be able to display the author' names at the top.
The 'Discogs' way' may be too hard-wired in my brain though, I don't have any clear idea of how things should be organized. Is there ever going to be some kind of 'master release' for instance?
